Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist After moving to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actor for children. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and now in 2020 - have earned her acclaim. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot series called New Warriors. Vayntrub is was a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. At the age of two She and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles in her family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly however she was kicked out of the school during her sophomore year. Then, she earned a GED and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
